Steve Jensen Art Studio (Capitol Hill), 1424 Tenth Avenue, Seattle, WA
Newly recorded vocal EP, "Where Can I Leave My Heart," has been birthed from Mary's growing desire to see pure love and kindness governing our human family despite our differences and belief systems. Dearest to Mary's heart is mending relationships with our LGBTQ community and lifting and loving anyone that has lost family or loved ones or self esteem or has spent years broken or trodden down.
"I want to be a voice of love. I want to be anyone's adoptive mother, friend, sister that is in need. I'd take you all in if I realistically could... 'I'd buy a big house where we all could live.' What I can do is sing to you, to share my heart and my soul with you and perhaps soothe you with a bedtime song.”
In collaboration with a Seattle based effort calling themselves, "Tsunami of Love," Mary's desire is to celebrate life together, to unify and to extend love and compassion where it is greatly needed; bringing community together through music, specifically the LDS LGBTQ community and extending to all reaches of our LGBTQ family.
The gorgeous studio of Seattle Sculptural Artist, Steve Jensen, known for his totems and boats is the perfect gathering place for this affair.
"It's an honor and delight for me to be able to perform in Steve's space and on his personal hand-carved baby grand. I look forward to our evening together."
